Adult Choir (8:45 AM Traditional Service)

Our Adult Choir is led by Allen Weate who prepares appropriate music on a weekly basis for our 8:45 a.m.  Traditional Sunday worship service.  In addition to weekly special music, the choir presents seasonal music at Christmas, Easter and on the Sunday before the 4th of July.

The Adult Choir practices on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. in Room 11 year round with the exception of some weeks in July and August when they take a summer break.  Auditions are not required – come and join us!

Praise Team (10:30 AM Contemporary Service)

Our Praise Team consists of both singers and musicians.  A typical contemporary service will find 2 to 3 singers accompanied by guitars, bass, keyboards, drums and percussion.  Other instruments, such as trumpets and flutes, are occasionally used as well.  Praise Team singers and instrumentalists are audition positions.

Instrumentalists Needed – Do you play an instrument and are looking for a place to serve at Lighthouse?  If so, then the Contemporary Worship Band could use your talents!  We are currently looking for bassists and drummers who can rehearse once a week on Thursday from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. and play in the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday mornings.  If interested, contact Jason Diaz.

Tech Team

The glue that often holds our worship services together is provided by a team of servants who handle our sound system, lighting system and computer-slide projection ministries.  Are you technically savvy and good with computers?  Do your ears perk up when you hear the phrase “live-sound mixing?”  Well then, we could use your help on our A/V Team!  Under the capable leadership of two Ministry Leaders, new workers are always welcome, and instruction and training is always provided.  We need volunteers who can help with lights, sound, and projection on Thursday evenings for our choir/band rehearsals from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday mornings at the 8:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services.  If you are interested in serving in this ministry, contact Jason Diaz.
