MOPS (MOTHERS OF PRESCHOOLERS)
9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in Room 4
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10
Are you breathing just a little, and calling it a life? Sometimes we need the reminder that life is meant to be lived to the full. That it is OK to enjoy ourselves, to let our hair down, and to worry less. Because as far as we can tell, this is exactly how God intended for us to live- fully and abundantly. It’s easy to forget what that feels like, though. One day we’re wide-eyed and the possibilities are endless, and then slowly, without even realizing it, we find ourselves dulled by the routines and disappointments that are a part of being human. We slowly start to lose our optimism and zest for life. All that is about to change, because this next year is about the full life. Which means living grateful, joyful, and hopeful. It means being led by the Good Shepherd and trusting that everything is working out exactly as it should.
MOPS is a program where moms of children participate in a group experience through a local church. The mentors of the group are experienced moms and everyone works together to help make better moms. Children participate in the MOPS KIDS program while moms enjoy breakfast, friendship, a speaker and something creative. If you are a mom of infants through preschoolers (birth – kindergarten), you and your children are invited to join us! MOPS Spring 2020 meeting schedule is: Wednesdays’ January 15 & 29, February 5 & 26, March 11 & 25, April 22, and May 13 & 27 at 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. The registration fee is $50. Register here today! If you have questions or would like additional information, contact Andrea Openshaw at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to seeing you and your preschoolers!
