We thank God for a joyful Easter season, with a great Palm Sunday Celebration, a very moving Good Friday service, the happy return of our Community Easter Egg Hunt (with 782 attending, for the first time in 3 years), and 3 exciting Easter services, including the nicest weather in memory for our early Easter patio service.  Thanks to all our staff and many volunteers who helped make our Easter season so special, to all who came, and we especially thank God for His blessings!

“Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
Revelation 2:10b (NASB)

God is faithful, and as His people, we have been called to be faithful – faithful followers of Jesus, faithful friends, faithful in our marriages, faithful in giving, in serving, and in other aspects of life.  This is our vision theme for 2022, and will be our focus for the next 7 weeks, starting this Sunday, with a Mother’s Day service and message on Faithful Mothers.  The Children’s Choir will be singing, all mothers will be recognized and given a fresh flower, and we will be recognizing some special categories of mothers, along with some other fun features.  If you are in town, don’t miss this inspirational beginning to our new series!  If you have family in town, bring them and enjoy a great service together.

This Sunday, May 8, is an opportunity for all parents to come up and dedicate their children to the Lord.  Last year we had 23 children dedicated to the Lord.  Many of our newer families and new babies have yet to be dedicated, so this would be a great Sunday to do so.  Parents can fill out a Decision Card and go get their children near the end of the message before the invitation, and come up at the invitation to dedicate their child/children; grandparents, godparents, or other supporting family are welcome to come with you.  Each child dedicated will later receive a nice customized Child Dedication certificate.

Our Real Men Group on Wed. night is wrapping up our spring season with one more study on the Apostle Paul next week (May 11), followed by a Potluck Dinner with the men’s, women’s, and children’s groups on May 18 before we break for the summer.  The Wed. night Women’s Studies and Just For Kids groups are doing the same.  Everyone involved is invited to bring a main dish or a side dish or a dessert to share, and we will provide the rest (sign up Wed. or let Andrea know at  We praise God for the wonderful fellowship and discipleship taking place among the men, women, and children on Wed. nights as one of the many good things happening at Lighthouse, so we invite everyone involved to join us as we wrap things up!

Our gravel road, drop-off, and upper parking lot are currently being graded and prepared for paving, so that section is closed for about 10 weeks.  In the meantime, the Chariot golf cart drivers are happy to give rides to anyone who needs one on Sunday mornings.  The new paved road and parking will be a nice addition, and at no cost to us!  We are also contracting for a new audio/projection/lighting system to be added to our sanctuary in the coming months.

“God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9

Come worship & fellowship this Sunday!
