“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”
There is a phrase that comes out of the CIY (Christ in Youth) Conference which many students at our church are familiar with. The phrase is simple, and it is this, “Kingdom Worker”. Are you a kingdom worker? I will let you in on a secret, you are, but don’t spend your life building the wrong kingdom. Look back on the past week of your life, how has your life been used by God to build His kingdom. Many of us spend much of our life building our own kingdoms, temporary ones that will inevitably fall victim to the enemy of time. Only God’s kingdom is eternal and so let us give ourselves fully to the task.
Many of the things you and I will “walk in” for Gods glory won’t take place in a Sunday morning church service. They won’t be “ministry” related or “church organized,” they will be a part of your everyday life. Ephesians 2:10 says that you are HIS workmanship! He made you in Christ for good works, you! All you must do is walk in them with Him. He has created us for good works that we can walk in, and remember Kingdom work isn’t a onetime event, it’s a lifestyle.
If you want to be a Kingdom Worker, I would love to talk with you about what God may be calling you into. Please reach out and talk with me, as we chase after Christ together.
