We pray for our church family, especially those isolated right now in the hospital or care facilities or at home and unable to have anyone visit. Lord, may you give them the care they need, protection from this outbreak, and an acute awareness of your presence; and lead those who know and care about them to stay in frequent contact through calls and cards.

We pray for those who have lost their jobs or had their income reduced. Lord, we pray for your provision and encouragement to our people and for this economic shut-down to pass soon.

We pray for those whose life savings or retirement have fallen dramatically. Lord, we trust you for our future and pray for our economy to come roaring back to life soon.

We pray for our church to survive this strange time of not being able to meet during a crisis. We greatly miss each other, and pray for the joyful time when we will be back together in worship and fellowship and discipleship and service to come soon!  Bless our efforts to reach and feed our people through weekly messages to our children, youth, young adults, and adults through our website, emails, social media, and other means, and guide our pastors and directors as they seek to reach and minister to your flock during this time.

We pray for our church offerings, which have dropped dramatically over the last two weeks. We appreciate every giver and every dollar and the increase last week, but it was still $6550 below what we need.  Lord, please meet the needs of every person and family that is part of Lighthouse, and give them the determination and ability to support their church as you provide so we can get through this crisis.

Lord, help us to use this time to reconnect with you and your word, and with our loved ones, and do what we can to help others in need.  Please keep us and our family and friends healthy and safe.  We pray for the doctors and nurses and police officers and firefighters who are on the front lines. May this pandemic and its impact pass soon.

Lord, give us the courage to live by faith, not fear, and to trust your word, which tells us to trust in you with all our heart and to lean not on our own understanding, but in all our ways to acknowledge you, so that you will make our paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6).

In the name of our mighty Savior, amen!

Pastor Mike

P.S.  Let us know if we can pray for you. And  it would greatly help if everyone who can would set up their giving online through our website so that others do not have to receive, count, and deposit checks and cash by hand, which would protect more people and make giving more stable and efficient.  See
