Preparing for the future reflects good stewardship and protects the things that mean the most to you.

Preparing for the future includes providing a Living Trust for your family. A Living Trust (also called a “revocable” trust) is a written legal document through which your assets are placed into a trust for your benefit during your lifetime and then transferred to designated beneficiaries at your death by your chosen delegate, called a “successor trustee.”

A Living Trust can keep your estate from going through the high costs and delays of probate, and unlike a will that becomes public after your passing, a Living Trust offers total confidentiality and complete control over your assets.  Establishing a Living Trust lowers your estate taxes and eliminates probate. On average, this saves your loved ones 12 to 14 months in valuable time and $30,000 in probate costs alone.

In your Living Trust, you can ensure fulfillment of your desires on medical decisions, guardianship of your minor children, and distribution of your valuables.  Your instructions are legally binding and guaranteed to be followed.

It is estimated that only about 20% of Americans have Living Trusts. Don’t be in a majority on this issue! Prepare for YOUR future now!

Lighthouse Christian Church will be hosting a FREE Living Trust Seminar on Saturday morning, March 5th, from 10:00 a.m. – Noon in Room 5. Everyone is invited and FREE childcare will be provided.  Please sign up on the bulletin insert on Sundays or contact me at
