Returning Home

CIY was amazing!  We brought 18 students with 6 adults.  While there, the students truly leaned on God and on each other and truly became a community that is walking together towards God.  The goal now with those students is to not just have a CIY or camp high, but to continually get closer to God and each other.

Axios has been continually meeting on Tuesday nights at 6:00 p.m. We begin the night with some fellowship and games, and then we go into a time of worship and lesson.  We have had a couple of stand-alone lessons.  After VBS week, we will be going through Galatians.  “Summer Games” is in full force.  This is a competition among the entire youth group in which they will compete all summer long.  Follow our Instagram to stay up to date @Axios_lighthouse and don’t be afraid to comment or direct message for more information. Sunday mornings we use the Orange curriculum XP3.  The goal of XP3 is for “students to experience a love for God that will inspire deeper faith, a love for themselves that will lead to wiser choices, and a love for others that will build stronger relationships.” Sundays are structured in a way that the students should leave knowing more about the Bible, and how to read the Bible better.

Lighthouse Young Adults (LYA) has begun meeting weekly on Sunday nights from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the harbor beach by the Volleyball courts.  If you need a ride, meet at the church at 5:30 p.m. and carpool with us at 5:45 p.m.  We are going through the book of James.  After James, we will look at some apologetics.  If you are age 18-25, come join us for some fellowship and Bible study.  To stay up to date, follow our Instagram @Lighthouse_YoungAdults.
