Ron Ransen
Worship Arts Pastor
Ron is from Long Island, NY, where he earned a degree in music, with an emphasis in piano, composition, and voice. He spent the early part of his career performing in live theater, Christian bands as well as in film and TV. With a calling to use his gifts for God’s glory, Ron was led to serve in full-time ministry where he draws upon his extensive professional background in the arts. This includes decades of independent study and education in music, voice, acting, and dance, with top professionals in the business. When it comes to worship, Ron believes in meeting God from where you are and helping others to experience God in their own individual acts of worship. Being able to pull from a repertoire of classical and contemporary styles helps him lead others from wherever they may be. Ron and his wife, Joanna, have two wonderful daughters whom they adore. They enjoy traveling, singing, and laughing together as much as possible.

Diana Gutierrez
Children's Ministry Director
Diana grew up in Los Angeles, known as the "City of Angels." She began her academic journey at Southwestern College before transferring to San Diego State University, where she earned dual degrees—a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. After graduation, Diana worked at the nonprofit Gat Juvenile Hall, providing counseling and support to at-risk youth. This experience solidified her dedication to serving young people in challenging situations. Her passion for making a difference led her to the Horizon School of Evangelism, where she wanted to be at the Lord's feet! She joined a group of 60 students on a cross-country journey across the United States. They participated in festivals of life, sharing the gospel through drama, skits, evangelizing, and other creative performances. Diana's outreach efforts also took her on missionary trips overseas, where she found joy in assisting at orphanages and engaging with children. During her time in San Diego, Diana met Joey, who would soon become her husband. After their marriage, they were blessed with two sons. In 2017, the family relocated to Oceanside, where they joined The Lighthouse Church. Diana became actively involved in the Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) ministry, offering guidance and encouragement to mothers in the community. Alongside this, she and Joey were involved in the children's ministry and youth ministry, eventually being appointed fellowship deacons—a testament to their leadership and commitment. Diana also homeschools her children, which has deepened her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
